Hi, I’m Dave Crompton, and I’m thrilled to share my passion for guitar with you. At 43, I’m a husband and proud father of two, with nearly 40 years of musical experience and almost 30 years of playing guitar.
Over the years, I’ve performed at hundreds of live gigs, both as part of bands and as a solo artist, showcasing my skills on both acoustic and electric guitar. I’m currently in the cover band ‘The Coast’, and the originals band ‘Twenty Night’.
From cozy, intimate venues to large-scale events with hundreds of people, I’ve experienced the joy of bringing music to life, and I can’t wait to help you discover that same excitement on your guitar journey!
Our Story
After nearly 40 years of playing and loving music, I realised that one of my greatest joys is sharing that passion with others. I know how important it is to make time for creativity and self-expression in our busy lives. That’s why I set up this guitar music school, Huckleberry Grove Music, to create a welcoming space where adults and children can rediscover or ignite their love for music. Whether you’re a total beginner or returning to guitar, my goal is to make learning fun, inspiring, and accessible for everyone.
