Lesson Types
We offer both one-to-one guitar lessons for personalised learning and small group classes of up to four students for a collaborative and fun experience.
Genres Taught
Our lessons focus on popular genres like indie, rock, and pop, delivering a modern and enjoyable learning experience, without venturing into classical or jazz styles.
Lesson Structure
- Tailored Lesson Plans
- Each lesson is customised to align with the student’s goals, musical preferences, and skill level, ensuring a highly personalised learning experience. When reading music, we will use the easy to read tablature system, also known as ‘tab’.
- Song-Based Learning
- Students learn techniques through playing songs they love, focusing on indie, rock, and pop genres, making practice enjoyable and relatable.
- Performance-Driven Focus
- Emphasis on building confidence to play in real-world settings, from casual jam sessions to live performances, with tips drawn from personal gigging experience.
- Flexible Learning Style
- Combines structured progress with a relaxed and fun approach, allowing students to learn at their own pace without feeling pressured or overwhelmed.
- Real-World Techniques
- Practical guidance on skills like mastering chord progressions, riffs, and rhythm, using techniques that are immediately applicable to modern music, rather than traditional methods.
Pricing
- Taster Session one-to-one: (30 minutes): £20
- One-to-one Lessons: Beginner to Intermediate Level (30 minutes): £25 per session.
- Group Lessons (2–4 Students): Per Person (60 minutes): £20 per session.
